Terrorism can be reduced by a "war on Terrorism".

Israel's history of fighting terrorism in its occupied territories shows that violence that kills and maims the innocent increases future terrorism. Israel has fired on buildings killing neighbors of terrorist criminals, denied civil rights and freedom of movement in entire areas, arrested peace activists, and destroyed houses of family members of terrorist criminals. Actions that knowingly cause death, injury, or destroy property without due process, inflame terrorism. The GW Bush administration is heavily influenced by the same strategy that Israel has shown to be unsuccessful. Terrorism is much more likely to be reduced by international law enforcement, better communications, and increasing human rights and economic opportunity.
